Arsenal's next five Premier League fixtures compared with title rivals after Man City draw

Arsenal were forced to settle for a point in their Premier League clash with Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, but their equalising goal came in dramatic circumstances right at the death.

The Gunners were held to a 1-1 stalemate at the Emirates Stadium on Super Sunday - in a result which leaves them five points behind leaders Liverpool after five fixtures have been played.

An early strike from Erling Haaland opened the scoring for Man City as Arsenal went into half-time behind by just a single goal, before Gabriel Martinelli equalised for the Gunners in the closing minutes.

William Saliba was reintroduced to the starting line-up, after missing the last three matches through injury while Bukayo Saka and Ben White were named on the subs bench following the recovery from their respective injuries. Martin Odegaard was not in the squad as he continued to recover from a shoulder injury.

Arsenal will now look ahead to their Carabao Cup third-round tie against Port Vale in midweek before returning to Premier League duties next weekend.
