Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Saturday as they take on Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium (12.30pm kick-off).
They are however expected to be without winger Bukayo Saka as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old suffered the problem during the 5-0 win over Leeds United, causing him to miss the game against Liverpool and not be involved for England in their World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
There was fear that the injury could be a repeat of his near-four month absence last season. However, there would have been relief around Arsenal with the prognosis set at weeks rather than months.

The clash against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 21 September (4.30pm kick-off) has been earmarked for a possible return. If that happens will of course depend on how his recovery goes between now and then.
While Saka continues his rehabilitation, Arsenal, and the player himself, have sent a reminder as to the impact he can have on games.
The Gunners have revealed on their social media channels that the winger’s goal against Leeds has been voted as the club’s goal of the month for August. The strike saw him beat Leeds goalkeeper from the right hand side of the box to put the ball high into the net.
As part of the announcement, Arsenal shared a replay f the goal on their Instagram channels. Saka has shared the post announcing his goal as goal of the month as well as the replay on his own personal Instagram story.
Despite his injury lay-off last season, Saka still managed to score 11 goals and provide a further 14 assists in 33 matches in all competitions, It’s a number he will be hoping to better this time around.
Should he do so, that would be a big boost of Arsenal’s hopes of taking the title off Liverpool at the end of the season.
