Although autumn is slowly creeping towards us, there’s still a glimmer of summer in the year, and it will (hopefully) be a while before we’re in the trenches of rain and snow. That’s why Georgia Toffolo has declared her Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats the “shoe of the season.”
Perfect for in-between weather, the sporty style of ballet flats is perfect for wearing with anything from jeans and leggings to midi dresses and skirts, making them surprisingly easy to style. In fact, Georgia loves hers so much she admitted she’d bought the £70 ballet flats in four different colours already.

The former Made in Chelsea star opted to wear the silver pair of Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats for a day running errands, pairing them with some leopard print leggings, a cropped T-shirt and a sweatshirt. Combining the elegance of ballet pumps with the comfort and street style of trainers, they’re a great choice for busy days on your feet, and you could just as easily get away with them at work as you could for brunch or a night out.
The Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats come in eight different colours, including Georgia's silver pair. There’s also other colours like red, black and white to choose from, with each pair featuring white design details and elasticated straps over the arches. These not only help hold them in place properly, but also give a nod to classic ballet shoes whilst sticking with their athletic aesthetic.

Puma isn’t the only brand that’s been nailing the sporty ballet flat designs, though. Adidas has launched two different versions of its own, including the Adidas Originals Taekwondo Mei Ballet Trainers, which you can pick up for £85.
Coming in five colours, they feature lace up style fastenings which wrap around your legs for a true ballet-inspired look. Adidas also launched its Samba Mary Jane Trainers, which are £80 and come in red, black, and two different white options, swapping the lace up style for a velcro strap across the arches.
You can also snap up the Round-Toe Satin Sneakerina from Vivaia, which come in a vast range of colours for £137. They’re soft and flexible, with a trainer-style front and soft satin elasticated sides identical to classic ballet slippers.
However if you want to follow in Georgia’s footsteps (quite literally) they also come in full and half sizes from 3 to 8.5, so finding the best fit should be easy. You can get your hands on the Puma Speedcat Ballet Flats in all eight colourways now.
