Tasha Ghouri became known to fans for her appearance on Love Island in 2022, but she's now said to have signed up to something completely different. The reality star, 27, who became the first deaf contestant on the ITV2 reality programme, also previously wowed on Strictly Come Dancing when she made the final last year, even though she was beaten to the Glitterball Trophy by Chris McCausland.
More recently, she competed on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, but walked relatively early on in the tough military show, following suit with the likes of S Club star Hannah Spearritt and Louie Spencer before X Factor legend Lucy Spraggan and drug smuggler Michaella McCollum emerged victorious, alongside footballer Troy Deeney.
In the coming months, viewers will reportedly see Tasha taking part in Pilgrimage, the BBC Two show that sees a new batch of celebrities explore their faith and beliefs. The programme has previously featured stars such as Gogglebox favourite Scarlett Moffatt, presenter Jeff Brazier and Hi-De-Hi star Su Pollard.

In a first for the series, filming is taking place in England, and the celebrities will be seen in the county of Northumberland in the North East. Even though insiders have said that Tasha may not be the 'obvious choice' for the show thanks to her background as a reality star with 'no apparent religious leanings', it's thought that she will contribute to the series when it comes to 'discussions about their differing world views'.
Speaking to The Sun, the source added: "Though it all sounds rather heavy, viewers have lapped up the show since it launched seven years ago and it’s delivered some tender and funny moments of telly.
“Though it will be a particular culture shock for Tasha as the windswept coast of Northumberland will be a far cry from the poolside of the Love Island villa.”
One famous route in the area is that of The Pilgrim’s Way which takes explorers to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Previous series have seen stars trek through the Scottish Isles, Portugal and the Alps, amongst other locations.
Fans of Love Island will remember that Tasha initially found love with Andrew Le Page on Love Island, but they called it all off at the beginning of this year.
Talking about doing a presenting course at the TRIC Awards in London, she recently explained why she had ruled out doing any more dating shows.
She said: "It's not for me, personally. I know people find love on these shows but my dating shows are closed. I'm going down a different path now. It's something I'm really passionate about. I'm happily single but I'm open to love. I'd love a family."
Speaking about her meteoric rise since the ITV2 show, she shared how she deals with the stress. "The past few years have been a whirlwind," she admits. "Sometimes I listen to music, other times I take my cochlear out and enjoy the silence. I'm very lucky to have that, it's a beautiful thing."
The self-confessed adrenaline junkie says she got something wild she needs to tick off her bucket list, though. "I want to try ski diving," she said excitedly whilst at the awards ceremony. "I'd love to throw myself out of a plane."
