The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw takes place tonight, with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Crystal Palace all in the hat and waiting to discover who they will be facing in the next round. Hoping to join them are more Premier League titans, including Arsenal, after Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester City, won on Wednesday night.
Liverpool booked their place in the fourth round after a 2-1 victory over Southampton. They were made to sweat when Shea Charles equalised in the 76th minute, only for substitute Hugo Ekitike to bag an Anfield winner 10 minutes later, before taking his shirt off in celebration and promptly being shown a second yellow card.
At the same time, Chelsea needed to come from behind to beat Lincoln City 2-1. Rob Street gave the hosts the lead just before half-time, before a two-minute double salvo from Tyrique George and then Facundo Buonanotte rescued the tie for Enzo Maresca's outfit.
Brentford, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Fulham were the four top-flight teams to progress on Tuesday night, joined by three Welsh sides in Swansea, Wrexham and Cardiff.
The four final games tonight are Huddersfield vs Manchester City, Newcastle vs Bradford City, Tottenham vs Doncaster and Port Vale vs Arsenal.
