The Duchess of Sussex is leaning fully into her Hollywood era as she worked the room alongside some of the biggest names in showbiz. Meghan, 43, was snapped with her husband Prince Harry and delivered two standout appearances in one night as she moved seamlessly from the glittering 2025 Baby2Baby Gala to Kris Jenner's star-studded 70th birthday celebration.
Arriving at the Pacific Design Center to support close friend Serena Williams, Meghan chose an all-black look with her long locks swept back into a low bun,
Yet despite the chic styling, some royal fans were quick to point out the mismatched shades of black in her ensemble, taking a swipe at the outfit's lack of tonal uniformity.
Taking to Xone user said: "Can't stand it when blacks don't match. The black of the skirt & the black of the top. a fail for a Bond-themed party. If she wanted this silhouette, Why couldn't she find a dress (all same color black)? This needed color. Maybe drop emeralds? Boring!"
"Stuns? The blacks didn't match," added a second. While a third slammed the look and claimed it was "awful", they shared "Square bob top half didn't match skirt. It looked awful."
Although some royal fans hailed the sleek ensemble, with one user saying, "Meghan looks stunning in this beautiful black dress. I love everything about her dress and jewellery."
Meghan opted for a black turtleneck top paired with a draped black skirt. But it was her accessories that truly sharpened the look, starting with a pair of rich espresso-gold Aquazzura earrings.
Aquazzura is one of her most frequently worn designer labels. She carried the brand's plush 'Bow Tie' velvet clutch, priced at £1,821 (US$2,335), and finished the outfit with matching heels costing £861 (US$1,105), which peeked subtly from beneath her skirt.
The choice of footwear offered a gentle nod to the custom pair by the Italian label she famously wore for her wedding-day evening reception in 2018.
In total, Meghan's accessories alone came to a whopping £3,170 (US$4,065) - a testament to her ongoing love of craftsmanship and investment dressing.
Later that night, Meghan and Prince Harry slipped into Kris Jenner's star-studded birthday celebration, where the Duchess's monochrome palette looked just as refined under party lights as it had at the philanthropic gala.
Meghan rubbed shoulders with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Adele and Mariah Carey who all got on board with the James Bond theme.
